This site examines the efficacy of religious faith on every level from world historical events to everyday family decisions. It seeks to examine faith as a means to knowledge versus science as a means to knowledge. It seeks to examine faith as a means to health versus medical science as a means to health. It seeks to examine faith as a means to an end versus demonstrable truth as a means to an end.
This site seeks to contrast the difference between those who rely on faith in the supernatural, versus those who rely on reason, logic, and the natural world.
But this site shall also seek to expose the useful side of faith should anyone care to share it. Faith has a value for many millions of people who might otherwise not be able to cope with the real word consequences of real world causes. Faith offers more than hope. It offers companionship with like minds, often in compassion in hard times. It offers a world view, a future view, of inevitable survival against the mortality of life. And this alone, for many, is worth the price of entry.
Therefore, if you would like to add content on the benefit of faith, you are welcome to do so. And if you would like to add content on why faith might be better than truth, you are challenged to do so.
It is the view of this Editor and the position of this site that faith might suffice only in the complete absence of evidence… but never in spite of it.
